About TAU

Students take a full schedule of five courses (in addition to the Ulpan), taught in English from our rich and diverse course schedule. The academic program is preceded by a mandatory intensive Hebrew language course, called an Ulpan, to prepare you for life in Israel. A summer Ulpan is seven weeks, and an abbreviated four-week Ulpan is offered for students who will begin their studies in the Spring Semester. Our semester’s course offering is designed with students’ interests and requirements in mind. Students with advanced proficiency in written and spoken Hebrew may join courses taught in Hebrew at TAU departments, subject to approval by the TAU International office and the relevant department.
