A variety of Technion accredited academic programs and research opportunities taught entirely in English are offered in a wide range of exciting fields. Technion’s unique blend of high-level academics, interdisciplinary attitudes and hands-on learning approach, facilitated through top-notch faculty and cutting-edge facilities, makes for learning experiences that prepare students to excel in their future academic and professional careers. This exchange is open to students in the Whiting School of Engineering at JHU for the spring semester or academic year. Classes are offered in English.

  • 3.0 Cumulative GPA or above
  • Sophomore or Junior standing at time of application
  • Major in Engineering

Courses and Credits

Students will earn 16-18 credits per semester. Coursework at the Technion will be in English and will be in engineering or entrepreneurship fields.

Students are encouraged to participate in credit-bearing internships in addition to their coursework during the semester. Internship placements will be in engineering, science, and business.

CostHaifa Ba'hai

Students pay JHU tuition, which will be billed to the student account. Students pay housing directly to the housing provider on site. Financial aid may be applied toward the cost of the program.

Students will live in shared double rooms in shared apartments on the Technion campus when their spring semester begins in March.

Application Process

There is a multi-step application process for this program.

(1) Students must complete the Hopkins application by clicking the green "Apply Now" button at the top/bottom of this page
(2) JHU will review this application and nominate qualified candidates to the university for participation on the program
(3) Nominated students will need to complete the program application. Instructions will be provided by the Study Abroad Advisor
