Courses and Credits

Students take 15 JHU credits or 30 ECTS and can choose between core courses and management electives. 
All students are strongly encouraged to take a French language course.

Management Core courses: 3 - 5 credits ECTS
Foundation Core courses: 3 - 5 credits ECTS
Electives: 3 credits ECTS
Management Skills courses: 3 credits ECTS (only one skill course is allowed per semester).
French language course: 5 credits ECTS

Courses are offered in English or French. Students must have completed 4 semesters of college-level French or the equivalent in order to take courses in French.

Students who study at HEC for the full year or spring semester can stay for the summer and do an internship. The Career Center at HEC will assist students with opportunities for summer internships.

Students pay JHU tuition, which will be billed to the student account. Students pay housing directly to the housing provider on site. Financial aid may be applied toward the cost of the program.

HousingParis HEC Dorms

Students are offered on-campus accommodation in either the EFIDIS Residence or HEC Residence. It is now also possible to secure housing in Paris and commute to HEC by public transportation.

Application Process

There is a multi-step application process for this program.

(1) Students must complete the Hopkins application by clicking the green "Apply Now" button at the top/bottom of this page
(2) JHU will review this application and nominate qualified candidates to the university for participation on the program
(3) Nominated students will need to complete the program application. Instructions will be provided by the Study Abroad Advisor
