The information provided above is relevant to the Summer 2020 program. Non-billable costs are estimates subject to change depending on fluctuations in currency exchange rates and a student's personal spending habits.
The costs listed in the first column are relevant to students who enroll in the full, 4 credit-hour program, while the costs listed in the second column are relevant to students who choose to take only 2 credits.
Please note that all participants will be enrolled in comprehensive travel medical insurance for the duration of the program abroad. The cost of insurance for Hopkins students is included in the program fee; the cost for non-JHU students is $45.
Students receiving Financial Aid should consult with the Financial Aid Office to see if they may apply any aid towards their participation in this program.
Hopkins undergraduate students may apply for a summer Study Abroad Scholarship. JHU International Studies students are eligible for additional scholarship funds through a generous gift from Jeffrey and Shari Aronson as part of the Aronson Center for International Studies. Students can apply for any/all of this funding by submitting a single Hopkins Study Abroad Scholarship application, the deadline for which is March 2nd. Please note that awards are partial and students must demonstrate both financial need and academic merit to be competitive.
